Statistical Quick Help

STATISTICAL QUICK HELP – TWO HOURS WITH A SPECIALIST, WHEN YOU NEED THEM

Not every statistical question requires a full study.

Sometmes you need exactly two hours with the right specialist: to read a proficiency test report, to set up a control chart, to understand why two laboratories disagree, to check an uncertainty budget before an audit.

The EPT platform gives its subscribers direct access to a panel of specialists
in industrial and analytical statistics – through an online agenda, in bookable two-hour sessions.

How it works

1 · Choose your specialist. Each specialist on the panel publishes their own availability in the online agenda. You choose the person and the time slot that suit your question.

2 · Book a two-hour session. Sessions are held online, in minimum units of two hours – enough to frame a problem properly and leave with an answer, or with a clear path to one.

3 · Work on your real case. Sessions are working meetings on your data and your documents – not lectures. Where useful, the platform’s statistical software is used during the session.
Booking is reserved for subscribers. On-site sessions at your premises can also be arranged, in minimum units of one day.

The subscription

Access to Statistical Quick Help is included in the annual EPT subscription, which comprises:

  • The annual registration to the platform’s reserved area;
  • A package of consulting sessions, bookable through the online agenda in two-hour units;
  • The secure storage of your files and working documents in your reserved space, for the whole subscription year.

Two subscription levels are available, differing in the number of sessions included. Subscribers can add further sessions at any time at reserved conditions. Non-subscribers may request individual consulting days at standard conditions.

Who uses Statistical Quick Help

Laboratories – preparing accreditation evidence, interpreting PT reports, reviewing uncertainty budgets and validation files before assessments.

Quality and technical managers – control charts, capability, sampling plans, supplier data that doesn’t add up.

Automotive supply chains (IATF 16949) – recurring statistical support for MSA, SPC and capability studies, and for customer–supplier measurement disputes.

Organisations preparing a collaborative study – sessions are the natural first step before opening a full project on the platform.

Two hours can save you two months.
